PERSIAN GULF COMMAND
VETERANS ORGANIZATION
held their (FINAL)
60th NATIONAL CONVENTION
in
Danville, Pennsylvania
on
July 18 - 22, 2007
The membership in attendance unanimously voted to discontinue the annual conventions of the organization at their
60th Reunion.
Therefore, the organization is no longer accepting any new members.
The website will continue to be maintained
with information and stories from the men and women who served in Iran during
WORLD WAR II.
Please bear with us as we continue to add information about this "secret mission" which involved hauling supplies to the Russians via the Persian Corridor during World War II.

The organization is proud to announce that a monetary donation of $15,000 was presented to the
National Mall Memorial Park
Washington, DC
on behalf of the
PERSIAN GULF COMMAND VETERANS ORGANIZATION OF WORLD WAR II.
In a letter to Superintendent Margaret O'Dell, National Mall Memorial Park department,
the PGCVO expressed the intent and use of the funds to be designated for the upkeep and
maintenance of the
WORLD WAR II MEMORIAL.
A special "thank you" to all our members who throughtout the past 60 + years
have made this donation possible.
